Milo Manheim

Early Life and Background

Milo Jacob Manheim was born on March 6, 2001, in Venice, Los Angeles, California, USA. He is the son of actress Camryn Manheim and former model Jeffrey Brezovar. Raised in a creative environment, Milo was exposed to the entertainment industry from an early age, often accompanying his mother on set. He is of Jewish heritage and celebrated his bar mitzvah with the Sholem Community, a secular Jewish organization in Los Angeles. 

Introduction to Performing Arts

Milo's passion for performing arts ignited at the age of six when he participated in a local after-school program in Culver City. This early exposure led him to perform in over 20 musicals with Liza Monjauze Productions, including notable titles such as "Rent," "Footloose," "Tommy," "A Chorus Line," "Gypsy," and "Spring Awakening." These experiences provided him with a solid foundation in acting, singing, and dancing. ​

Breakthrough with Disney's "Zombies"

In 2017, Milo secured the lead role of Zed in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Zombies," which premiered on February 16, 2018. His portrayal of the charismatic zombie garnered widespread acclaim, leading to reprising the role in its sequels, "Zombies 2" (2020) and "Zombies 3" (2022). These films significantly boosted his recognition among younger audiences. ​

"Dancing with the Stars" Participation

In 2018, Milo showcased his dancing abilities by participating in the 27th season of "Dancing with the Stars." Paired with professional dancer Witney Carson, he delivered impressive performances throughout the season. The duo finished as runners-up, further demonstrating Milo's versatility as an entertainer. 

Subsequent Acting Roles

Following his success with "Zombies," Milo expanded his acting portfolio with roles in various television series and films. He appeared as Pierce in "American Housewife" (2018–2019), Josh in "The Conners" (2021), and starred as Wally in the Paramount+ series "School Spirits" (2023). Additionally, he played Nico in the second season of "Doogie Kameāloha, M.D." (2023) and Ben Plunkett in the Disney+ film "Prom Pact" (2023). ​

Off-Broadway Debut

In February 2025, Milo made his Off-Broadway debut as Seymour Krelborn in the revival of "Little Shop of Horrors" at New York City's Westside Theatre. Starring alongside Elizabeth Gillies, who portrayed Audrey, Milo's performance was well-received, marking a significant milestone in his theatrical career. ​

Beyond acting, Milo is a skilled musician proficient in playing the guitar, drums, piano, ukulele, and various wind instruments. His musical talents have been showcased in his acting roles and personal projects, reflecting his multifaceted artistry. ​
